PERRYSBURG – There is no shortage of winter wonder at Levis Commons this holiday season. In addition to
shopping and dining, guests will enjoy a variety of family friendly events.
From hundreds of thousands of white twinkling lights lining the boulevard, to Santa greeting young
visitors in his house and horse-drawn carriage rides circling the 50-foot tree, the sights and sounds of
the season are alive at the outdoor shopping center in Perrysburg.
Santa will be available in his house located near the fountain to visit with children throughout the
holiday season.
Daily from noon to 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday, then 1 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, and again Dec. 22 and 23
from noon to 8 p.m.
Mrs. Claus will make special appearances throughout the holiday season too.
Children can also leave their letters for Santa in the mailbox next to his house. Letters with a return
address will receive a personal response from Santa, and every week a selection of letters will be
published on www.ShopLevisCommons.com.
Horse-drawn carriage rides around Levis Commons are also being offered. Carriage rides take place every
Saturday in December from 5 to 8 p.m., and pick-up is located on Chappel Drive near Schakolad Chocolate
Factory. Cost is $5 per person or $10 per family.
Shoppers are asked to share the holiday spirit with local children in need and donate a new, unwrapped
toy, gift card or other donation to the Lucas County Children Services Holiday Gift Drive. Donations
will be accepted until Wednesday. Visit www.ShopLevisCommons.com for a list of participating stores and
offers.
Give the gift of life by donating blood at the annual American Red Cross Holiday Blood Drive on Dec. 23rd
from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn. Raffles, door prizes and food and beverages will all be
available for donors.
